Have lost your early passion, love and excitement for Jesus
Be feeling powerless to cope with life
Have originally found the Bible to be 'living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword' but now you find reading and studying the Bible to be rather 'dry and academic'
Have rarely glimpsed "inexpressible and glorious joy" (1 Peter 1:8) in your day to day Christian walk
Be doubting the clear and undeniable facts of the Christian faith (Jesus was born, lived, died and rose from the dead, there is sin and judgment, Jesus is God)
Be slipping back into your 'old habits' (sins)
Be starting to think that the activities that the Bible clearly defines as sin (e.g. homosexuality, sex before marriage, adultery) may not really be 'all that bad'
Think that by living a 'good life', acknowledging that God exists, and going to church will get you to Heaven
Be doubting the fact that there is only one true living God
Be thinking Jesus might not be the only way to God
Be continually angry with God, blaming Him for your problems
If you feel victory in the battle is slipping from your grasp then TAKE ACTION!
