After we become Christians, God continues to refine us so we become more like Jesus. We need to let God do His work in us as we open up all the areas of our life to Him. "If the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind" (Romans 12:2). "And we ... are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory ... " (2 Corinthians 3:8).
