Rebekah was a rebel, depressed, living immorally and cutting herself. She is very happy Jesus has changed her life so much ...
An undeniable change
When I was 13 years old I was a rebel child. I was depressed a lot and I didn't listen to anyone. I did what I wanted to do. Although I went to a Christian school, it didn’t mean anything to me.
My attitude
I pretty much hated everyone and everything. I would storm around thinking I was so great and everyone had to listen to me. My relationship with God was gone.
My actions
I started cutting myself and getting into an immoral lifestyle. My language was awful and definately not glorifying to the Lord, but I didn't care at the time.
Camp
I went to Word of Life (WOL) camp in the summer and got myself right with the Lord. Word of Life was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I met a lot of Christian people and I realized that I was sinning and was in a bad situation. They helped me to stop cutting myself, stop swearing, and helped me get my heart right. I rededicated my life that summer.
Home again
I got back home and was a changed person. I confessed my sins to the Lord and to the people that I needed to apologize to. I started to go back to church and felt like a new person. Everyone saw the change and are very happy … and so am I!
Christ has changed my life sooo much! My hope for my future is to work at the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York.
