Answer: As you and I will not survive forever on this earth, this is a crucial question for us all. It has a limited number of possible answers and some are shown below.

Answer 1: Atheists - nothing happens after we die ... we simply cease to exist.

Answer 2: Reincarnation - our soul or spirit returns to earth as a new human body, or even as an animal or plant.

Answer 3: Christianity – we only live once and then judgement comes. Heaven or Hell are the only two possible destinations for us.

Now all the above answers cannot all be true at the same time.

If there is a Heaven and Hell (as the Bible tells us), we will not cease to exist (as atheists tell us). And if we cease to exist there will be no Heaven or Hell.

If we only get one chance at this life (as the Bible tells us) then reincarnation is not true. And if reincarnation is true, the Bible is wrong when it says we only get one chance at this life.

We can look to Jesus to get information about what happens after death

Some say; “Well no-one really knows what happens after death.” Well this statement assumes Jesus did NOT rise from the dead. Because if Jesus did rise from the dead, He DOES know what happens after death and we should give Him our undivided attention.

Conclusion

Jesus tells that there are only two places we can go to after we die ... heaven or hell. What Jesus says about life and death is worth listening to. We urge you to consider what He says.
