Ted thought that all there was to being a Christian was living a good life. After seeing a video, he realised that there was a contradiction between God creating the world and the world being produced by the evolutionary processes of time, chance and error (mutation). Ted now realises that Jesus is the author of life and that the good news is that Jesus is the only way to salvation and forgiveness. One of the side benefits of receiving God's grace was that Ted overcame the grief of the death of his son and his dependence on cigarettes and beer.

Is there a God? In the early days, before Tim Mander became an international and N.R.L. referee, he wondered about this and concluded there wasn't. But gradually, his addictions to alcohol and gambling took hold. After Dave, one of Tim's friends, became a Christian, Tim finally read the Bible and his life was transformed. In 2005, Tim has awarded Queensland 'Father of the Year'.

After Thomson received four open-heart operations, the doctors had lost all hope of him surviving and they informed his parents that their son would die. During this process, a friend of Thomson's mother explained to her what 'special prayers' really meant and God miraculously healed Thomson, saving him from certain death. Thomson thanks God for this experience and he has made a full recovery.

What has happened to our world? Many people who have lived on this earth for any period of time have asked this question. When Win looked at her life and the world around her, she saw that it had gone downhill. Finally at 51 years of age, Win found the missing piece which filled the uneasy emptiness she had sensed throughout her life.
